Welcome to the
OSDM09 conference management system.
OSDM09
Open source software is becoming increasingly accepted in public and
private sector organisations in many countries. There is a variety
of open source data mining tools available to both researchers and
practitioners, some being simple research prototypes while others are
fully developed software tools in daily use in industry.
This workshop aims to bring together data mining software developers,
practitioners, researchers and educators, with the objectives to
present open source data mining tools, discuss experiences and lessons
learned developing and using such tools, and exchange ideas on how to
promote the use of open source tools in the field of data mining.
Actions
- Authors
As an author, submit your paper's details
and the PDF of your paper using the Submit option. The system will provide
you with an id and a password. Please note that a double
blind review process is being followed by OSM09 and so your PDF
should not contain information that identifies you as the author. You
can update your information and the PDF using the Final Submission option. Please note
that the freely available open source OpenOffice.org Suite will read
MS/Word documents and produce good quality PDF.
- Reviewers
As a reviewer, you can access the Review
Manager to download your papers, and to submit and update your
reviews. You can also record your preferences for specific topics
with the Topic Selector and then
select specific papers with the Paper
Rater. You will need your login and password, as mailed to you
separately.
- Administrator
The Administrator is for configuring and
managing the system. You can savely ignore this function (unless you
are one of the administrators).

Acknowledgement
The open source project, MyReview,
is used to manage our paper review process. The software supports
abstract and paper submission, reviewer assignment, discussion of
conflicting reviews, the selection of papers for acceptance, and
mailing of authors and program committee. An excellent tool and easy
to install and maintain.
